Quoth the Maven discusses her spelling bee experience. She lost on the word "curiosity;" I lost on "fiduciary ... f-I-d-u-c-i-a-r-y .. fiduciary." Those words go together nicely: "fiduciary curiosity." The next time I bounce a check I'll remember to use that. "I don't know how that check bounced, Mr. Shopkeeper; what a fiduciary curiosity!" Or maybe someday I'll be able to say, "Son, please satisfy my fiduciary curiosity and tell me what happened to the lunch money I gave you."
