The Republican challenger to Joe Lieberman settled a $28,000 gambling debt in the early '90s. He described himself as a "recreational" blackjack player.

In Kansas City, two men were killed when leaving a dance at, of all place, a Knights of Columbus hall.

A sniper is stalking the highways of Indiana.
