Name That Town!

Let's play a game. Guess the town where the "Jihad Camp" in this story is planned to take place:

Residents of _____ protesting the expansion of the Foundation for Islamic Education because of zoning violations, recently became aware that the center is planning to hold a Muslim Youth camp with many of the controversial speakers who appeared at a self-described "Jihad Camp" in 2001.

The FIE is funded and owned by the ex-Saudi Minister of Energy and Electricity - Abdullah Taiba and is a satellite campus of _____ of al-Azhar University in Cairo, a hotbed of Muslim Brotherhood activity.

It comes up again in a second story:
The heavy hand of the Saudi Kingdom is being felt in _____.

When _____'s Foundation for Islamic Education [FIE] requested an expansion permit from the _____ they were met with protests from concerned residents who were fed up with the group's flaunting of its zoning agreement.

Think you know? Well here it is: the town is Villanova, Pennsylvania, the Lower Merion Council is the governing body referenced in the article, and the campus is a satellite campus of the American Open University, affiliated with the named Egyptian school.

Villa - freakin - nova!

The stories are really press releases from PipelineNews.org -- on July 10 and July 12. The FIE has since announced the "Jihad Camp" has been cancelled.

I'm sure I'm not the first blogger to notice this story, but I don't recall seeing it elsewhere.

Villa - freakin - nova!
