At Pirate Ballerina, news that Ward Churchill's supporters have created a new website: the "Ward Churchill Solidarity Network".
It was quite a spectacular launch party they had. All the biggest names in moonbattery were there, though at first they wore bags over their heads to protect themselves from the man. They've since relaxed -- Mel Gibson brought Tequila -- and have posted some missives and proclamations in support of their hero.
Pirate Ballerina also has been watching the not unrelated saga of the Teachers For A Democratic Society petition to have the University of Colorado "unfire" Ward Churchill. My favorite post is this one. See the last entry, which breaks down the backgrounds of some of the signers.
